The scavenger hunt on the bike in Rüttenscheid
Why not invite your team on a city rally through Essen, the European Capital of Culture in the Ruhr region. This offers a great mix of discovery, fun and excitement and also the opportunity to get to know new places in Essen. Today we present you a city rally through Rüttenscheid in Essen, which will take about 2 - 3 hours. We will use our tablet PC's with our own rally app, which you can of course also use. Start of the city rally through Essen: The Folkwang Museum
Meeting point for the bike rally is in Essen Mitte and Rüttenscheid at the Volkwang Museum, not far from the Philharmonie Essen. Each team member gets a bike and one person also the tablet with the associated geocaching app for our rallies, then it can start. For the next 2.5 hours, the individual teams are now on the road in Essen to solve the sometimes difficult puzzles, take selfie photos of themselves and shoot exciting videos on the tour.
Tricky tasks for more team spirit and fun
From the museum it goes down the Albertstraße to the intersection Zweigertstraße. Tricky questions from the geocaching app await solutions here, such as what does RUHR.2010 mean and which industry has particularly shaped the city of Essen for centuries?

From the Haumanngarten via the Gruga to the Rüttenscheider
Continue past the edge of the Haumanngarten towards Gruga Park, one of the largest parks in the city of Essen. The history of the park as a multiple location of garden shows in Essen is legendary - would you have known? After passing some more important stations like the Grugabahn and the big lake in the park and going around it once, there are some really tricky questions that the city rally team should solve together.
End on the Rüttenscheider with food and drinks
After so much meticulous brainwork, it's time for an after-work beer or after-work prosecco. It's a good thing that Rüttenscheider Straße, the nicest nightlife area in Essen, is not far from Gruga Park. To answer the last question (e.g. how many cafés, bars and restaurants can you find on Rüttenscheider Straße?) it makes most sense to have a look at them live. Here also ends the team event city rally with geocaching app with a sundowner in a hip bar and a cozy dinner in the Spanish restaurant Pelayo.
