Summer, sun, company outing in the Eifel with horsepower and power

30 degree heat in the office, the exhausting hum of the computers, open windows, sticky leather chairs... Who doesn't know this?

Who doesn't know the situation when you get distracted during working hours by those thoughts that tell you what you could do after a hard, hot day at the office? You want to add a little variety to your life and not just on the weekends? Most of the time you still end up on the couch...

Who am I? What do I do? What do I love about being an Event Manager?

I'm Oskar and I manage event projects as an event manager at b-ceed. The Wild Rally Xtreme is one of my favorite events. It starts with the project planning, where I get in touch with our nice, empathic partner "Alex" and ends with the farewell of enthusiastic, satisfied guests.

The journey from our event planning company in Euskirchen to Rieden, I find picturesque. You start in Euskirchen, which is pretty much flat, and drive on the A61 deeper and deeper into the mountainous, green Eifel. Arrived in Rieden our rally guide "Alex" welcomes me. It is always very interesting to see how this small town is flooded with company cars of our customers shortly before the start time. Therefore, we often plan the bus transfer for our customers at the same time, so that the trip to the Eifel is more relaxed for the guests.

As project manager, I usually ride in the 6-seater Polaris vehicle, which is led by Alex. I sit in a strange position on the back seat and shoot photos to the back to capture the ride of the guests. However, this task is fun for me personally, because I can combine my hobby: photography with a wild off-road ride.

The vehicles are powerful Polaris ATVs. Their horsepower proves itself even at the beginning on paved roads. Attention: Here, too, the rear can break out very quickly. The tour itself is demanding for some. Leading in the terrain requires concentration, logic and sometimes also overcoming. You should always keep in mind that you have a co-driver.

...are the same as the rest of us. No, Alex has arranged for permits to be able to drive even nature reserves. It is unbelievable to observe how the ATVs can master slopes in the deepest forest between branches and bushes, even 50°.

I have an unforgettable day every time I take part in the "Wild Rally Xtreme Tour". Even as a project manager you get your money's worth.

The most important thing for me is to see the result of my work: satisfied, beaming guests, who I could offer a change in the office routine.
