How does a soapbox team event work?
We welcome you in your desired location or also with us on the area. All kits are ready, now only teams have to be chosen. Depending on how many guests participate, we form two to ten teams and more. We hosted our largest soapbox team event for almost 500 guests and it was a phenomenal start to the year's business - it was a kick off to spring, so to speak.
Building soapboxes in a team
Under the guidance of our professionals, you can assemble your soapboxes according to the templates. Craftsmanship, creativity and teamwork are required. But it's not only the building that's fun, but also the subsequent decorating with graffiti spray cans and paints. We provide you with creative sets consisting of spray cans, paints, brushes and a number of extras. So you can create real team uniques from your soapboxes. Be creative and let your imagination run wild!
Stake out and prepare the race track
Once the soapboxes are ready, we'll take a look at the race course together. We mark out the course and prepare it so that you can have a fast-paced soapbox race afterwards. While you are in the construction phase, our team assistants mark out the race course, set up barks and cones and stretch flutter bands. Of course, pennants, flags and balloons must not be missing, because these are part of every race.
By the way: We can design all decorative elements in your colors and provide them with your logos. This results in a very round thing with a lot of effect on your teams and guests.
The soapbox race begins
As soon as all preparations are finished, it's time for a great soapbox race that will be remembered by all guests for a long time. In your teams you determine the order of the drivers and the "pushers". You will need the "pushers", because as you know, the soapboxes do not have an engine. During your round, your team members will stand at the edge of the track and watch your soapboxes and give them an extra push if necessary.
Driver change after one or two laps
So that each of you gets a turn, the drivers change after every lap or every second lap. This adds a lot of dynamism to the soapbox race. By the way, the soapboxes are steered by wooden steering wheels and you can brake by pulling the brake chain. Depending on your mood, we have already held more than 50 soapbox races with more than 20 laps.
Award ceremony and closing party
As it is usual with our teambuilding events: After each soapbox race, the winners naturally deserve a special honor. We present you with trophies that you can display in your company in the future as a sign of pride in your victory. Also the soapboxes of the past decorate so mance lobby or canteen today. On our winner's podium, the first three places of the day are celebrated, of course with magnum bottles and wreaths. The party afterwards crowns the fun and you can toast the victory, dance and have fun with live music or DJ sounds until late into the night.
